St John's is a congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany, NY, part of the Episcopal Church, and part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. As Anglicans, we emphasize the love of God. We believe the church’s mission is the restoration of people into unity with God through Christ Jesus.

God Loves His people - so much. Our God didn't wait to be worshiped, He came into our world looking for us. We worship in joyous response to a God who did that for us.
We worship -

St. John's is also a congregation that knows that God's great love for us, His desire to restore us, is a process. A process where we respond to God in Worship, Prayer, Study and Service - and in doing so are changed. The God of this world loves us enough to not just leave us alone - he wants to change us - to make us into His likeness. As such we seek to strive to understand God's will for our lives and to conform to His likeness.
