Parish Picnic at the Rectory

August 24^th

Come to the Rectory on Sunday, August 24^th following our morning service for a picnic.

This annual event allows us all to enjoy one of the last weekends of the summer together.  We provide the grill and the drinks.

Please bring a dish to pass and some meat to grill.

We will have games for the kids and plenty of fellowship.

Share on the Square – August 22^nd

This summer the Delhi Christian Clergy Association is hosting a “Share on the Square”.  Just what is this event?  This even is a free fun time to gather and enjoy a variety of activities.  Our motivation is to have a friendly and fun evening, in a way to show people that we as followers of Jesus can have fun – in fact we like to have fun.

So far we are planning to have games for small children and older children, a variety of music and entertainment, a tent that people can receive prayer if they like, a movie about Jesus, and of course food.

We are looking for help in each of these areas and also more ideas.  If you are interested in helping please let Father Dave know.  Please mark your calendar for what we pray will be a wonderful evening and a great witness to our community.
