How sure are you of your foundations?  Have you ever wondered about certain aspects of your Christian faith, ever wondered how it might compare to other faith systems?  How about all the “stuff” that the Church has gone through leading to different groups?  Finally, what does it mean to be an Episcopalian?

            Over two thirds of our adult members from St. John’s have gone through our Finding Your Foundation Class.  This class examines the above questions and more. 

            Why attend such a class? There are several reasons.  One reason is that the world we live in is constantly bombarding us with new information and challenges; how can we understand them and understand our faith?  Understanding your is always good.  Being at the same starting point doesn’t mean we all agree, it just means we understand the approach and some of the history and reasons for different parts of our faith.

            But doesn't this class take eight week nights?  Yes it does and to make it easier we offer lunch.  So starting June 23, 2008 come for lunch and check it out!
