To know Christ and to make Him known.

Sunday Worship

Our Sunday Service starts at 9 AM and is complete with Music.

If you have been to an Episcopal Communion Service before then it is sufficient to tell you that we alternate between Rite 1 and Rite 2 from the Book of Common Prayer.

If that explanation isn't helpful here is another. We start with an opening hymn to center us on praising God; we then read from the Old and New Testament, hear a message from our Preacher for the day, spend some time greeting each other and then celebrate the Lord's Supper.

Following the service we have a Coffee Hour fellowship. For the service you should plan about 60 minutes - come and join us.

Monthly Healing Service

Let us encourage you to come and take part in the Healing Service.

The Healing Services at St. John’s are quiet, holy events where we listen to God’s Word, receive God’s Sacrament, and ask God’s Healing presence into our lives.

These services can provide some time to reflect and renew from the bumps, bruises and at times deep wounds of life.

Morning Prayer: Monday through Friday

Every morning Monday through Friday at 9 AM the church is open for morning prayer. Our prayer time includes praising God using some classic prayers, listening to God's Word, praying together using a Psalm, having a time for individual intercession and thanks.

The only days that Morning Prayer is not offered is when we have a special communion service in its place. The detailed calendar highlights those days - the service is still at 9 AM, so just show up - you can't go wrong.

Morning Communion

Throughout the year our tradition highlights certain days when we remember some Christians who have gone before us. People like Saint John, or Saint Peter, or Jesus' mother Mary; and on those days we learn a little about these people and how we might shape our lives by theirs, and we celebrate Holy Communion instead of morning prayer.

Plan about 45 minutes for the service; our detailed monthly calendar will highlight those days.

Wednesday Weekly Evening Communion

Each Wednesday we have a mid-week evening Communion Service.  The service is at 5 PM to let you either get home to dinner - or stay with us for dinner.  Most Wednesdays following this simple yet moving service we have a parish program with dinner.
