Our study of Mark continues and this week in chapter six.

After feeding over 5,000 people Jesus puts his disciples and sends them off in a boat by themselves!  I’ve often wondered why Jesus did this.  He must have needed some time to himself and he must have thought that he could “catch up” with his disciples. 

So he sends them off and then end up in a storm. 

Think about the last time they were in a boat with Jesus – what happened?  Would you willingly get into a boat after that experience, and this time without Jesus?
